A year after its disastrous initial public offering, Facebook is seeing its stock climb back toward the initial price. Facebook's recovery may help pave the way for another social-media company to go public soon. According to reports, Twitter has posted a job opening for a financial-reporting manager whose responsibilities would include preparing filings such as the S-1 document—a precursor to an IPO.
